Hintok River Camp @ Hellfire Pass is an exceptionally safari tented camp stunningly located on a historical piece of land upon the pinnacle of Hintok mountain in Kanchanaburi, Thailand where the historical river, River Kwai runs through.

Only about 2 hours away from Bangkok, we offer you a new style of relaxation while being close to the rhythm of nature with 32 spaciously deluxe canvas tents featuring private bathrooms and outdoor showers with hot water, air-conditioning, private veranda and luxury furniture.

“Hintok” is named after the area where the camp is located. Local people call “Hin-tok” (meaning “falling rock”) due to thisparticular area provides a great view of River Kwai River upon a cliff over the great river.

The safari tented camp is by far the best choice to explore the tropical nature along with the memorable WW2 historical site. There is nothing to compare with staying in a luxurious tented camp in a beautiful setting with the sights and sounds of nature surrounded.

Elegant thirty two canvas tents, each 26 SQM. and 32.6 SQM when the private veranda and bathroom are counted. The tents are all settled permanently on a wooden base. The tents feature twin and queen size beds with a 6 SQM. ensuite bathroom decorated in Thai-safari style. Each tent also has an air-conditioned, fan, hot shower and refrigerator.
Restaurant & Bar provides drinks and tasty & hygienic food arranged by a qualified chef. While you enjoy your food and drinks, you will find yourself sitting among the tropical trees where you can hear the sound of nature. There is also a natural spring water pool just adjacent to the River Kwai Noi. You will have a magnificent sunset view while you are sitting in the spring pool.
Recreational activities will acquaint you with close-contact to nature such as mountain biking, trekking, canoeing, bamboo rafting and visiting Mon tribal village and their cultural performances and many other excursions.
